POSTS STORIES REELS

Two sides of the same coin looking at a sunset after an awful, terrible day. They have two separate reactions. One thinks of it as mocking while the other sees it as a reward. Both are not wrong and both are not correct.

This ties back to the scene after a previous post(The one with “Yeah” as the main focus) and is the events afterwards. Vale pummels Azreal but Azreal can do nothing about it, he’s tired and can’t move anymore. Vale has given up on trying to play it cool as an infiltrator and decides to leave Azreal for dead. This is around the midpoint of the story.

I’ve been seeing this trend go around and decided to make one myself. Thought it turned out pretty good by @studio_l.a.d.s

$This is Vale, the antagonist of Project U Spark: Every living breathing moment: the ability to create fractals in space that can do a multitude of things like open rifts, force perspective, summon things, pull people in. There is no limit and it is infinite as all fractals do. Vale was a weapon made for spine to use as in war. Vale is part of the son of spine program that was made to create a clone of the former head of concord Marcus Garcica though the project was scrapped after Vale. Vale in early arcs Azreal’s best friend and a valuable asset though his plans are revealed later down the line. Vale is a politician in the Nova crucible which is the capital of the world. Vale only cares about his three little sisters, Nyx, Clover, and Marcie. Vale is represented by the judgement card. Vale is part of spine and known as the sin of wrath. Vale inherited the almost infinite fuel reserve that Marcus Garcica had. Vale is actually blind and sees the world through the 5th branch of fuel Centrum, his birth defect is that his cataracts are so bad that his eyes are permanently black and white making him blind. Vale is Azreal’s best friend, even after Vale revealed his true intentions, even after all the fighting, even if Vale didn’t want to admit it behind his hatred for Azreal. That’s still his best friend by @studio_l.a.d.s$

This is a confrontation between Azreal(the main character) and Vale(the main vilian who was acting as his friend).

For context, there is none. I haven't gotten to the buildup for this scene but it's been in my head.

Vale: “I hate you. I just watched my world world die in front of me and you ask me if something is wrong. I truly hate you. You have everything in this world that I want. You have family who you can talk to and not have to worry if they will love you. You have friends who you see everyday who enjoy being with you. You have someone who loves you unconditionally. All I have is wealth and power, but you have that too. You just get everything in life while the ones who want it most get to see the scraps. You take your family for granted, how I wish I could have a family but I was made a weapon and treated as such. I want the approval of those who wouldn’t care if I was gone the next day. They wouldn’t even look for me. What good is money when all you want is connection. I had to play it safe for all these months while listening to your problems thinking about how good you have it. I can’t take it anymore. This mission is over, I was tasked with getting you to join spine but I’m done. I just can’t stand someone so similar to me get everything I want and more. I hate you.”

Azreal stands still, the dark alleyway is deafening yet quiet: “Do you mean that?”

Vale stares directly into Azreal’s face as a rift opens up behind him: “Yeah.” by @studio_l.a.d.s

This is the last duet.

A place inside the mind of any vessel of justice where each one takes on a new form though each and every one of them has the same music playing. A duet of piano and violin. For Azreal’s last duet, it’s empty except for a tree, it’s a dark void that encompasses all things in the mindspace. Though the tree has the connection to the past vessels of justice making him in tune with all 7 sparks.

The person walking out is Mark Garcica(he has a post). By some turn of events Mark is stuck in this place while he watches Azreal’s life unfold. He acts as a guardian to Azreal and can switch out with him. Mark represents the death card of the 22 major arcana(That’s coming out soon) as he represents change in life
The last duet acts as a place to restrain one prisoner. That prisoner is Marcus Garcica. Azreal and Marcus are the same person but raised differently. Though Marcus is still there and is actively trying to get his body back but as long as Azreal doesn’t know anything about Marcus, he’s powerless.

Though if you look closely behind the tree you can see two pairs of hands. There are two attendants of the last duet, King and Queen. Two children who bicker constantly and provide guidance to each vessel of justice. They can appear in the real world without a vessel unlike Mark or Marcus.

This was heavily inspired by the egg room from deltarune and the velvet room from the persona franchise.

I was originally going to put don’t fear the reaper but final duet is such a beautiful song that I had to put it here by @studio_l.a.d.s

“He looks just like me. Only his face is older and of deranged joy. While mine is full of agony”

Azreal thinks to himself as before him stands Marcus Garcica. A man who’s been long past.

It’s really complicated but Azreal and Marcus are the same person only raised differently. Azreal is a sort of reincarnation of Marcus for context.

Originally this was going to be a redraw of the sentry larp panel but I didn’t want to get on the computer and trace and draw

Before I put the pen ink all over the characters, Azreal’s face was shell shocked, he just saw someone die and he can’t tell if anything is okay. While Marcus was lifting his hair showing his face to be just like Azreal’s, his expression was that of pure joy, but as I inked it, the expressions changed. Azreal’s became a mix of so many emotions. Any one of them would work, what he’s feeling is up to the beholder.

There is a reason Azreal isn’t shaded the same way as Marcus.

Copies imitate the original but can never be as perfect and great as the original by @studio_l.a.d.s

This is not a tarot card. I couldn’t make any today but I made this doodle of the next tarot card- the devil

Devon is the sin of Greed, one of the leaders of spine(the remnants of the world concord) Devon is one of the main villains of the series and part of spine. His title the sin of greed is fitting as he lives up to it very well. He only wears expensive clothing, only drinks the most expensive wines, he only eats the greatest foods. Devon isn’t just self indulgent, he’s stingy with money and only uses others cash to buy things. Despite all of the flaws, I have to admit design wise he’s the coolest character by far. Only wears sunglasses but his eyes can always be seen.

He is the former best friend of the strongest of today- Christopher Garcica. From an early life they knew each other but after defeating the world concord, Devon dropped the act and finally took up what he wanted: power.

Bang Bang- Devon’s spark is known as Bang Bang, a destructive spark that only leads to misery and destruction. But I based it off all of the explosive powers in fiction and made them into one. He has a few types of bombs: 1- contact(Devon has to touch the object he wants to blow up and can detonate it at any time. He also can control the explosive power of it: based off of a timed bomb and c4) 2- combustion(similar to an actual bomb, combustion is a short ranged way to use his spark by throwing nitroglycerin sweat in the air and exploding on contact of air: based on nitroglycerin) 3- charge(takes the explosive power into a mobility power letting the user charge up kinetic energy into an object and make it shoot through the air until running out, then it explodes: based on fireworks)
While this spark seems broken, it is. He is simply just powerful and that’s it, the only real thing is that repeated explosions take a lot of fuel to do, but he’s so fuel efficient that it’s no sweat granting him the rank of Seraphim(I need to do a whole system rank post soon)

Devon is the modern day calamity of war.

Tarot cards- the chariot

I had the character down but then I needed a card, Matthew Garcica represents willpower, freedom, and strength. So I had none better pick than the chariot. The chariot card represents willpower, strength and determination to get through any obstacle.

Matthew Garcica is the strongest mortal of all time, there is no one past present or future that could take him down and live to tell the tale. His mastery over the weather and all things related makes him a calamity.

Matthew is the 6th vessel of justice giving him an advantage at most things in life than others but the caveat was that he was born without eyes but managed to see through his mastery of fuel and the branch known as centrum.

The reason he is so strong(or more his spark is) is because I am deathly afraid of storms. By channeling my fear into this character I have made a force of nature. Storms are will that have no objective other than to destroy.

Matthew Garcica has gone by many names- the storm king, the 6th vessel, the calamity of death. All of which he earned throughout his monumental life.

Though a terrifying opponent, he represents freedom more than all else. The freedom to be anything and everything drove him to create the freelancers but ultimately leading to his untimely death. He was a good man that sought out the good future for others, not himself.

I wish I could give credit to the artist I based this card over but I found it on a google search and their name didn’t pop up. by @studio_l.a.d.s

Tarot cards- the sun

The sun tarot card is defined by success, clarity, and vitality. Charlie Solin is the definition of vitality.

He has gone by many names, the Sun God, the king of the Nile, the eye of God, and the calamity of famine
Known as the Sun God, he hates this name as it praises a human. Solin has a very very special spark known as inferno. The power of the sun and the ability to live as long as the sun. But he ages normally, when he dies he goes back to a checkpoint in his life and age, he remembers only up to that point and every death brings him into a new world.

First born in the Holy Roman Empire, he was made the last pharaoh of Egypt and killed for his heresy, that’s when his first rebirth came. Called the king of the Nile he had the power to burn the Nile dry and used it as a threat to the invaders who wanted the splendor of the river.

In every life, he’s had a new daughter and each one was named after a virtue or good trait in the hopes he can right the wrongs of his past lives. The Solin household was the first great dynasty of the new world.

Solin was recognized as the second calamity rank as his spark was thought to be made from humanity’s collective fear of heat and fire. by @studio_l.a.d.s

Tarot cards- Justice

Justice is best represented by the main character of Project U, Azreal Garcica.

Justice represents fairness and truth. Looking in the face of the unjust you fight for righteousness.

Justice can take many forms so we’ve seen in the previous vessels of justice
1st- justice that never comes
2nd- justice that came too late
3rd- justice for the land
4th- justice that corrupts
5th- justice for the world
6th- justice for oneself
7th- justice for others

So many ways and so many possibilities for how the each justice but do not stray off the path, there is a fine line between justice and wrath, crossing that means you have lost fairness and truth and now are in a web of injustice and lies. by @studio_l.a.d.s

Sparks

Sparks are the physical manifestation of a person’s will. They are similar but no spark is the same as everyone is different in their own ways.

Sparks take up fuel but in doing so they can be infused into the roots and branches of fuel adding onto the techniques especially if their spark affects their fuel type

Sparks affect fuel types based on what spark a person has, if you have an electrical spark your fuel is electrical naturally.

But there are many examples of sparks. Using the rising sun spark(check the Jane post) as an example- the animals made by the spark have their own fuel and when they run out they dissolve. But they take up fuel to create as well. by @studio_l.a.d.s

The four roots of fuel

All four roots are a reserved for masters of fuel making way for these roots of the branches which are a lot more powerful than the branches

Antila- this works with Sana pushing the blood in the body along with vigor to make the body physically more capable, pumping muscles for a short time letting people run faster; pick of heavier things, and most of all become a lot more durable. This is prone to fuel leakage

Ruptis- Ruptis forces the fuel out of the body into a long ranged attack, but unless it’s paired with a spark it’s practically useless as fuel leaving the body is just blood. Paired with a spark and it’s a lot more versatile. Though some have figured out how to use ruptis for movement

Sipho- this works as a siphon, taking away fuel forcibly but just touching someone. This works with sana to provide instant healing though the effect isn’t as strong as it isn’t the user’s fuel but a victims.

Renasci- this uses up all the fuel in the body to regrow a limb. Though you cannot use it on brain tissue, its uses are helpful for those proficient in training with fuel. Renasci uses up a shitload of fuel making the user go into burnout which makes them not be able to use fuel, for even weeks on end. by @studio_l.a.d.s

This is part 2 of ? of me explaining the power system of Project U, this is about the 6 branches of fuel

Sana- the hardest fuel branch to master. Sana uses blood and antibodies in your body to heal yourself. While it’s a simple technique to name,
It’s a hard technique to learn as it requires perfect mastery of your fuel to move it in such a way, normally requiring mastery of all other branches to even use.
Patiri- the most basic expression of fuel. Patiri opens up the fuel reserves letting fuel flow through the body without control, fuel leakage is a constant thing that can lead to dire consequences but is necessary to use fuel, it lets you give and receive fuel from any part of the body using fuel leakage.
Operire- Operire lets the user collect fuel through out the body by putting pressure in certain places, solidifying the area acting as a cover for the body. A full body version of operire is not as strong as a condensed version in a single area, full body diffuses the pain throughout making the pain not as strong but felt everywhere. A condensed Operire lets the user fully protect and area but the downside is that if you miscalculate the blow, the pain will hurt 5x worse as all your fuel is condensed there.
Foras- Foras lets the user do the opposite of Operire, instead of being a blunt force, Foras is a sharp force , normally used to brace the body when attacking, Foras is perfect for hand to hand combat, but not ranged. Pushing fuel out of the body instead of pulling in
Centrum- Centrum lets the user sense fuel by pumping the lifeblood into the eyes. Used to see Fuel Leakage in an area and see how much fuel a person has.
Vigor- Vigor pumps fuel to the brain acting as an involuntary response to external stimulus, essentially dodging without knowing, it pairs with centrum to detect fuel and normally learned together by @studio_l.a.d.s
