Studio L.A.D.S.

This is a confrontation between Azreal(the main character) and Vale(the main vilian who was acting as his friend).

For context, there is none. I haven't gotten to the buildup for this scene but it's been in my head.

Vale: “I hate you. I just watched my world world die in front of me and you ask me if something is wrong. I truly hate you. You have everything in this world that I want. You have family who you can talk to and not have to worry if they will love you. You have friends who you see everyday who enjoy being with you. You have someone who loves you unconditionally. All I have is wealth and power, but you have that too. You just get everything in life while the ones who want it most get to see the scraps. You take your family for granted, how I wish I could have a family but I was made a weapon and treated as such. I want the approval of those who wouldn’t care if I was gone the next day. They wouldn’t even look for me. What good is money when all you want is connection. I had to play it safe for all these months while listening to your problems thinking about how good you have it. I can’t take it anymore. This mission is over, I was tasked with getting you to join spine but I’m done. I just can’t stand someone so similar to me get everything I want and more. I hate you.”

Azreal stands still, the dark alleyway is deafening yet quiet: “Do you mean that?”

Vale stares directly into Azreal’s face as a rift opens up behind him: “Yeah.”
