A branded barrel might be pretty, but knowing your saddle fits your horse properly means much, much more to us.
There’s a growing trend for saddles to arrive beautifully packaged in branded barrels, creating that big reveal when your new saddle turns up. And while we can absolutely appreciate the aesthetics, we’ve always believed the experience of receiving a new saddle should be about far more than how it arrives.
We want your new saddle to arrive with your saddle fitter. We want it put on your horse, checked properly, assessed with you in the saddle and adjusted where necessary — so that from that very first ride, you know the fit has been considered for both horse and rider.
For us, that’s where the real value lies. In the craftsmanship that has gone into making your saddle, the knowledge and experience of the fitter delivering it, and knowing that the finished saddle works as it should for the partnership it was made for.
The packaging might make a great first impression, but the fit is what matters long after it’s gone.
Call us old school, but that’s one thing we don’t plan on changing 🫱🏼🫲🏽
