🇺🇸 “35 years ago, my cousin/brother Rex Johnson left this earth. I am so grateful today that I discovered @theaidsmemorial to share my remembrance of Rex. Rex and I, along with Derrick and Darrell all grew up with our grandparents. Rex was 10 years older than me and I was a few years older than the other boys. Because of our age difference, I didn’t hang out with Rex when he was with his friends but I heard all the stories about him in the neighborhood. Rex was very creative. He made his own clothes. I remember, he made prom suits for 2 of our cousins and for others. Rex was a dancer! We went to church Saturday mornings, but Rex didn’t. He was home watching Soul Train. He learned the latest dances and showed them off Saturday night at the Local VFW Club and other Dance Halls. On Monday mornings, I always heard about Rex at the club or VFW over the weekend and how he danced the night away! 😊 He was the life of every party! When Rex was diagnosed with AIDS he began to hide and shrink. He no longer went out. His body betrayed him and he became very sick. Our little community Homestead/ Florida City, Fl, begin to treat him like the plague. Our community was hit very hard by this disease. There was so much fear and unknowns. Before AIDS, he was very popular. After he began to look liked he had AIDS … loss of weight, legions on his faces, all his friends disappeared. This sadden him. I saw his joy completely snapped from him. However, We/his family never left or avoided him. We supported him till the very end. I am very proud of how my family supported him till the very end. Rex died of AIDS, October 12 and 6 days later we had his funeral on his birthday, he would have turned 37 on October 18, 1991. Today, Rex would be 72. Rex, I remember you today, and miss you dearly. I’m grateful this page is here so I could share about you with the world and remember you. You left this world 35 years ago, but you remain in my heart. Until we meet again … peace to you my cousin.💕❤️ Gone way too soon! 😢” 📖 by Bridgett Roberson #whatisrememberedlives
🌸 F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers 🇹🇭 Drama: F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers Country: Thailand 🇹🇭 Episodes: 16 Genre: Romance • Youth • School • Drama Released: 2021–2022 Available: Viu / GMMTV Status: Completed Main Cast: • Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree as Thyme • Tu Tontawan Tantivejakul as Gorya • Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn as Kavin • Dew Jirawat Sutivanichsak as Ren • Nani Hirunkit Changkham as MJ Other important characters: • Maria Poonlertlarp as Mira • Prim Chanikarn Tangkabodee as Kaning • Fah Yongwaree Anilbol as Tia • Cindy Sirinya Bishop as Roselyn Storyline: Gorya is an ordinary girl from a financially struggling family who gets into an elite school dominated by the incredibly wealthy and powerful F4 — Thyme, Ren, Kavin and MJ. Their world is completely different from hers, and Gorya refuses to simply accept their cruel school hierarchy. As Gorya becomes involved with F4, each member begins facing his own complicated relationship with love, friendship and family expectations. What begins as rivalry and conflict gradually turns into a story about growing up, learning from mistakes and discovering what love really means. And then there is Ren… 🌿 Ren is the quiet, artistic and gentle member of F4. Unlike Thyme, he isn't loud or aggressive. He keeps to himself and has a completely different kind of presence — calm, mysterious and emotionally reserved. Gorya initially develops feelings for Ren because of his gentle nature, but Ren's heart is already connected to Mira, the girl he has loved for a long time. Mira is elegant, kind and comes from a wealthy family, and Ren's feelings for her become one of the more bittersweet parts of the story. Ren's love is especially memorable because he doesn't simply stop caring about Mira when things become complicated. His feelings, disappointment and eventual understanding become part of his emotional growth. #fypppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp #instagram #trendingreels #explorepage #instagood
