Belen Vera

Hi Gators!

My name is Belen Vera, and I’m from South Florida! I’m so excited and grateful to be running as the Honors candidate with Vision Party this semester. I’ve been involved in Student Government since middle school, so having the opportunity to continue serving here at UF feels incredibly full circle and is such an honor.

Since coming to UF, getting involved with Vision has been one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience so far. I’m so excited for the opportunity to represent my new home, the Honors community, and the friends who have already made UF feel like home.

I’m especially excited about publicizing residence hall room layouts and dimensions so students have the information they need before move-in, making the transition to campus easier and more efficient. I also hope to keep listening to Honors students and advocating for changes that improve our experience on campus.
