It’s many blocks filled with cool services, shops, makers, designers, do-gooders, places to eat & drink & learn & garden. The things their selling aren’t just local, THEY’RE the best. And, most importantly, the people behind them are rad, each business has a good back story & a desire to collaborate. Sunnyslope is full of business owners, neighbor volunteers, and nonprofit groups who are united in supporting one another, showing up for each other, and accentuating the positive. Sure, it’s an up at dawn battle everyday to build & protect it. But that’s what makes this little stretch of Sunnyslope special. It’s not just a place you pass through, it’s a community worth discovering, supporting, and celebrating. Thank you all these people recognized by the New Times. You are super humans & YOU inspire in five dimensions. 💚
