Just celebrated my birthday at one of the BEST Japanese wagyu experiences @fatcowsg 🥩🍽️✨ I’m pretty picky when it comes to beef, and honestly, I find it quite difficult to find really good beef in Singapore. This one definitely delivered. My favourite was the Kumamoto Redhair A-grade — surprisingly lean but still so tender and packed with flavour. It was cooked perfectly, and honestly, it tasted so good on its own that I barely needed any sauce. 👌🏻 The Fat Cow Premium Donburi was another highlight too — Australian Wagyu MB7 on rice, topped with salmon roe, foie gras, onsen egg and truffle oil. So many luxurious ingredients in one bowl! 🤤 We also had the Tai Carpaccio to start — thinly sliced sea bream with black truffle. The fish was really fresh and the truffle flavour was surprisingly strong, which I really enjoyed. The team also gave me a little birthday surprise with a complimentary dessert 🥹❤️ I loved the yuzu ice cream — so refreshing and the perfect way to end the meal! We also tried the baked Japanese sweet potato with soy sauce ice cream, seaweed, sesame seeds and mirin. Personally, I found the sweet potato a little too sweet, and the sweet + savoury combination didn’t quite work for me. I was actually a bit disappointed with the dessert options though, especially since it was my birthday and I was hoping for some kind of cake to celebrate — it only happens once a year! 😅🎂 Overall, definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re a beef lover! 🥩 #birthday #sgjapanesesteakhouse #sgjapanesefood #sgsteak #sgeats
