There has been a lot of love in the media recently for Alexander’s newly published standalone novel, The Isle of Good Karma. He joined Clive Anderson on @bbcradio4 Loose Ends, who named him ‘the national treasure of Scotland’. Alastair Mabbott at the @theheraldscotland reviewed the book, stating: ‘it has all the good-natured cosiness cherished by his loyal
readers [...] an undeniable twinkling charm’, as did the @sunday.post, who wrote: ‘[it] carries his usual cocktail of humanity and humour, but this time spiced with serendipity.’
