It's the reason you need to see the entire field, not just be seeing where your own team/players are, but be noticing what the defense is doing too (so that you can play off of it AND take advantage of it!) 👏💯

🔹 If you/your team want to practice this, especially to help them open up their awareness more - just set up a feeder, a cutter, and one defender just on the cutter to start.
➡️ Have the defender sometimes look away on purpose (to open the back door opportunity), and sometimes not. ➡️ This will allow the attacker to start paying more attention to their defense, having to read them, and make decisions accordingly 👏

If you're a basketball player, this probably comes easy to you, which is just another reason playing multiple sports is so great 🏀🙌
