In the last couple of weeks, I received the best questions about MahjongGita Hands and how to play them! Inspired by this amazing curiosity—we’ve created this series on them. 💙✨

In this video we touch upon the general overview of how these Hands are played.

🀄️✨Some important points to note:

- These Hands are typically played in the South Round
- The Player who is East decides what game the Table should play and everyone plays that Hand
- The Flowers of the Round are 2. A Pair of the Round Flower or Pair of your Own Flower, if you are South garners you 500 Points. So if you happen to be South and get lucky to get both — that’s 1000 Points!
- Scoring is a flat, 2000 Points from East, 1000 Points from everyone else. Unless you’ve made a Concealed Hand, in which case you’re reward doubles—4000/2000.
- Lastly, you can “Shop” in this Round. Traditionally, Shopping only occurs in the South Round. You can only buy the Discards of the Player on your Left. This costs 100 Points.
