We’ve got an ACTION-PACKED couple of days ahead of us, and we’re kicking things off with VOLLEYBALL!🏐

Our great-niece is coming to Lusk to play, which creates a little bit of a dilemma! You’re supposed to cheer for your hometown team, right?! But what happens when you’re RELATED to the competition?!🤣

You cheer for BOTH, of course!

That’s just how it’s gonna be!😂

Then it’s straight from the volleyball games to setting up for our annual Son of a Gun Banquet on Saturday night!

We’ll be setting up tonight AND tomorrow morning because putting together an event for that many people is quite the undertaking! But it’s always such a GREAT evening with our community!

We’ve got an amazing dinner catered by Hickory Creek Catering, games, drawings, a live auction, and plenty of opportunities to support a GREAT cause!

And THAT’S what makes this event so special to us!

The money raised helps provide scholarships for our local kids and support our shooting sports program that Kevin and I had the privilege of leading for ELEVEN YEARS!

Investing in our young people and giving back to our community…THAT’S what it’s all about! 🙌🏼

So how am I fueling up for the next couple of days?!
