I WORK HARD SO I CAN PLAY HARD!🙌🏼

Guuess who’s on the road to LARAMIE?! 🏐🚗

Got one of those random messages saying, “Hey, Addie’s playing in Laramie. Wanna come?” Ummmm…YES, PLEASE!!😂

So here I am, headed to watch another one of my beautiful great-nieces play volleyball! And she’s a SENIOR too! How in the world did that happen so fast?!🥹

But FRIENDS, here’s what I really want to share with you today.

THIS is WHY I do what I do!

I work HARD. I put in the time. I show up for my businesses, my customers, my teams, and the dreams Kevin and I are building together.

But I also get to make decisions about MY TIME!

When an opportunity comes along to go watch one of our kids play ball, spend time with family, or make memories that I know I can never get back…I have the flexibility to say YES!

And that, my friends, is worth so much to me!

I’m building MY dreams instead of spending all my working years building someone else’s.

Does that mean I don’t work? GOODNESS NO!!! Sometimes I work more hours than I ever imagined! But I’m doing things I LOVE, things I’m passionate about, and things that allow me to serve others while creating a life we love.

Whether it’s WELLNESS, FASHION, or the LEGAL SERVICES Kevin and I have added to our businesses, there are opportunities to learn, grow, serve others, and build something of your own.

And maybe you’ve been watching what I’m doing and wondering if there’s something here for you. LET’S TALK!!! 🙌🏼

I’m not looking for everyone. I’m looking for people who have dreams of their own and are willing to put in the work to pursue them!

Because life is happening right now, friends. And I don’t want to miss it!

Let’s lock arms and see what we can build TOGETHER!

Now, I’ve got a volleyball game to get to!🏐 by @juliegaukel

Some of the BEST gifts I’ve ever received from my kids weren’t things to sit on a shelf. They were gifts that allowed me to CREATE!🥹

My Silhouette cutting machine and heat press were both gifts from my kids, and let me tell you, those gifts just keep on giving!!

Who would have thought that something they gave me would eventually become such a big part of what we’re building with The Farm Store?!

And here we are! My dining room table is covered in shirts, the computer is full of designs, and my creative wheels are spinning! 🤣

There’s just something so special about taking an idea from my head, creating it on the computer, and turning it into something someone else gets to wear!

And knowing my kids helped make that possible? Well, that makes it even sweeter.

We’ve got some NEW designs coming to The Farm Store, and I’m giving you just a little sneak peek today!

But I’m keeping this particular design a secret for now! 👀

Any guesses what I’ve been working on?! by @juliegaukel

Oh, how my momma would have LOVED the last couple of days🥹

Kaitlin and I have been working on projects together, creating things, figuring things out, and spending time doing something we both love.

And I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thought about how much Momma would have enjoyed being right there with us. She would have been in the middle of it ALL!

And then there were her scissors.

Such a simple, everyday thing. But they’re HER scissors. The same ones she held in her hands, used for her own projects, and now here I am using them while working alongside my own daughter.

Three generations. Two of us physically here. And one we miss more than words can say. I wish I could tell you that the missing gets easier. But goodness, there are still moments when I just want my Momma.

I want to show her what we’re making. I want to hear what she thinks. I want her sitting there working alongside us, visiting, laughing, and enjoying every little bit of it.

And it hurts knowing I can’t😪

But I’m so thankful for the memories, for the things she taught me, and even for something as simple as a pair of scissors that lets me feel a little closer to her.

I know she would have been so proud of what we’re doing. And I know she would have loved doing it with us.

Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make you miss someone the most🥹

If you’ve lost your momma, you probably understand exactly what I mean. by @juliegaukel

Y’all! We are SO excited about this one!

There’s just something special about Christmas markets, isn’t there?! The beautiful decorations, the festive atmosphere, the smell of Christmas in the air, and all those wonderful handmade treasures just waiting to be discovered!

And this year, The Farm Store gets to be part of it!🎉

What started as our family simply doing the things we love has grown into something we get to share with all of YOU!

And now we’re busy getting ready to bring a little piece of The Farm Store to HOLLY DAYS & TWINE — A Curated Holiday Market!🎄

We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on, meet some new faces, visit with familiar ones, and help you find a few special Christmas gifts along the way!

Handcrafted and Homegrown. That’s what we’re all about!

Stay tuned because we’ll be sharing more details AND some sneak peeks of what we’re bringing!

Who’s ready for a little Christmas shopping?! 🎁 by @juliegaukel

When supper calls for fresh jalapeños, you head to the GREENHOUSE! 🌶️

And tonight I had my oldest girl, Kaitlin, right there harvesting with me! Here’s what makes this little moment extra special🥹

While Kevin and I were away in Cabo, our kids surprised us by building this greenhouse! And now here we are, picking fresh jalapeños for supper from something THEY built for us!

HOW COOL IS THAT?!

There’s something pretty dang special about raising your kids, watching them grow into adults, and then getting to enjoy the things they’ve poured their own time, talents, and hard work into.

I love that we’re still doing life together, just in a whole different season!

And there’s nothing quite like walking out to your own greenhouse and picking what you need for supper. Especially here in Wyoming, where our growing season doesn’t exactly stick around forever!

A greenhouse built with love, homegrown food, and a little time with my girl.

Yep! These are the moments I treasure!

Now tell me…are you a jalapeño lover, or is that a little too much HEAT for you?!🔥😂 by @juliegaukel

THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY!🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

All I wanted to do was make my Salted Caramel Apple Crisp! 🍎🍂 That’s it. That was the PLAN!

Went into the pantry looking for my ingredients, and somehow, SOME WAY, I ended up DUNGING OUT THE ENTIRE PANTRY!😂

You know how it goes. You move one thing to find another, discover something you forgot you had, realize a few things aren’t where they belong, and before you know it…

EVERYTHING IS COMING OUT!

And there I stood, surrounded by pantry contents, wondering how looking for ingredients turned into a full-blown organizing project!

But HEY! Sometimes those unplanned projects are the ones that need doing the most! Now I’ve got a cleaned-out pantry, AND we still got our delicious apple crisp!

I’d call that a WIN!🙌🏼

Please tell me I’m not the ONLY one who goes looking for ONE thing and ends up tackling an ENTIRELY different project?!

Because apparently, that’s just how my brain works!😜 by @juliegaukel

If this doesn’t scream FALL COMFORT FOOD, I don’t know what does!!! 🍎🍂🤤

SALTED CARAMEL APPLE CRISP!!!

And not just ANY apple crisp! This one is made with our limited-edition Salted Caramel Life Shake, giving this delicious fall favorite an extra boost of PROTEIN (we’re talking 22 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber per serving).

I pulled it out of the oven HOT, just in time for supper when Kevin got home, and paired it with some creamy Greek yogurt (yep, even more protein.) This was supper😂

Warm apples, cinnamon, that delicious salted caramel flavor, and a little crunch on top! All the cozy fall goodness without forgetting about our protein goals!

And friends, this is what I keep telling you…you don’t have to just DRINK your protein shake. There are SO MANY delicious ways to use it!

But here’s what makes this limited-edition flavor even MORE special to me🥹

For EVERY bag of Salted Caramel Life Shake purchased in October, Shaklee helps provide essential nutrition to 10 moms and their children through our partnership with Vitamin Angels!

So while we’re enjoying something delicious in our own kitchens, we’re helping make a difference for families who need access to good nutrition. That makes my heart happy.

🍎 AND I’VE GOT A LITTLE GIFT FOR YOU!

With every bag of Salted Caramel Life Shake purchased through me, I’ll send you my FREE 16-PAGE RECIPE BOOK packed with delicious ways to use your shake!

Because protein doesn’t have to be boring, and it certainly doesn’t have to come in a glass!

COMMENT “APPLE CRISP” or send me a message, and I’ll help you get your Salted Caramel Life Shake ordered so you can start making some fall goodness of your own! by @juliegaukel

13 years ago the road to the state volleyball tournament unfortunately ended in Wright.

So proud of all the Lusk Lady Tigers!

Thanks for another amazing season...so many memories made:)

Just look how young our kids were and our great niece and nephew who came to watch her play. Now Addy is a Senior!🥹 by @juliegaukel

We’ve got an ACTION-PACKED couple of days ahead of us, and we’re kicking things off with VOLLEYBALL!🏐

Our great-niece is coming to Lusk to play, which creates a little bit of a dilemma! You’re supposed to cheer for your hometown team, right?! But what happens when you’re RELATED to the competition?!🤣

You cheer for BOTH, of course!

LET’S GO TIGERS!
LET’S GO DOGGERS!

That’s just how it’s gonna be!😂

Then it’s straight from the volleyball games to setting up for our annual Son of a Gun Banquet on Saturday night!

We’ll be setting up tonight AND tomorrow morning because putting together an event for that many people is quite the undertaking! But it’s always such a GREAT evening with our community!

We’ve got an amazing dinner catered by Hickory Creek Catering, games, drawings, a live auction, and plenty of opportunities to support a GREAT cause!

And THAT’S what makes this event so special to us!

The money raised helps provide scholarships for our local kids and support our shooting sports program that Kevin and I had the privilege of leading for ELEVEN YEARS!

Investing in our young people and giving back to our community…THAT’S what it’s all about! 🙌🏼

And YES, there are still tickets available! If you’d like to join us Saturday night, send me a message! I can get your tickets reserved and waiting at the door!

So how am I fueling up for the next couple of days?!

My cellular energy support, collagen framework support, foundational nutrition to help fill those nutritional gaps, and of course my protein shake!💪🏼

Because this grandma has places to be, people to see, and a WHOLE LOT to get done! 😂

HAPPY FRIDAY, FRIENDS!

Now tell me…are you having a relaxing weekend, or is your calendar looking anything like ours?! by @juliegaukel

Friends, I need you to hear this today!

God didn’t create you to be a copy of somebody else. He created YOU! Fearfully and wonderfully made, with your own gifts, talents, dreams, and a purpose that only YOU can fulfill!

There’s only ONE of you!

And those things He’s placed on your heart? Those dreams you keep thinking about? Those gifts you sometimes wonder if you’re good enough to use?

USE THEM!

Not to impress the world, but to make a difference in it. To love people, encourage people, serve others, and most importantly, bring glory to HIM!

And here’s what I love about my other calendar today. God knows EXACTLY what you’re experiencing. Every struggle, every doubt, every fear, every dream. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start walking in the purpose He’s given you.

I’m 58 years old, and I’m STILL learning, growing, stepping outside my comfort zone, and discovering what God has in store for this season of my life!

And friend, I believe He’s got more for YOU, too!

So stop comparing yourself to everyone else. Stop waiting until you feel ready. Stop believing you’re too old, too young, too inexperienced, or not good enough.

YOU ARE CALLED. YOU ARE SET APART. YOU WERE CREATED ON PURPOSE, FOR A PURPOSE!

Now let’s start LIVING LIKE IT!!! Always cheering you on!!🙌🏻🙏🏻🫶🏻 by @juliegaukel
