Speaking of incredible leaders we hung with in DC…I finally got to meet SMMC Carlos Ruiz! I’ve admired the way the SMMC speaks to his Marines on social media for years (realizing that the youngest ones are best reached there). You can tell how much he cares for his Marines with all the extra effort he puts in to spend time with them and connect with them at all levels.

He was more incredible in person. 🇺🇸 if you want to feel inspired, go check him out at @usmcsgtmaj
