A really popular series with my girls is Dork Diaries, but by 6th grade, a lot of girls (or their parents) are ready for them to start branching out!

The Taylors and its sequel by Jen Calonita have been a hit because it is a series that is very relatable to many girls!

Smile (and all Taina Telgemeier books) is anotger great one! It is a graphic novel which adds another layer of interest for reluctant readers to branch out!

The Moon Without Stars by Chanel Miller has some artwork (though less than Dork Diaries) and is a very heartfelt look at the complexities of being a seventh grader.
