after I Accidentally St@bbed her In The Stomach While we’re Struggling Over A K+ife — Influencer Killaboi Tells Lagos Court During Trial For M¥rder Of his Girlfriend

Benjamin Nnayerugo, popularly known as Killaboi, has told a Lagos State High Court that he accidentally st@bbed his girlfriend, Augusta Onuwaghagbe, in the stomach while struggling to take a steak kn+fe from her.

Testifying before Justice Ibironke Harrison, the defendant, who is standing trial for the alleged m¥rder of the 21-year-old Lead City University student, said the incident followed an argument over messages he allegedly found on her phone.

He claimed the disagreement escalated after he insulted Augusta’s mother, prompting Augusta to grab a steak kn+fe and thre@ten him.

“She st@bbed me twice on both hands as a result, but I still refused to release the phone,” he told the court.

Nnayerugo said they struggled over the kn+fe for about 10 minutes.

“We dragged the kn+fe for about 10 minutes. She was holding on to the handle while I held the tip,” he said.

According to him, he eventually grabbed the handle, and Augusta sustained a st@b wound during the struggle before falling to the floor.

“It was then my eyes cleared. Blood came out from her stomach and her mouth,” he recounted.

He further claimed that he tried to save her by removing the kn+fe and covering the wound with a towel to stop the bleeding.

“I told her not to d+e and that I won’t break up with her again,” he said.
