⭐️ A family farm with a story to tell: Barnstar Farm

Tucked away in Chester County, Barnstar Farm is a small, family-run operation built around a long-held dream of having a farm of their own. Today, the family balances farming part-time with raising animals for their household and growing vegetables for their CSA.

Gaige, KCG’s Produce Manager, recently visited the farm to learn more about their operation and growing practices. The family uses organic and regenerative methods, and their work goes well beyond vegetables. They also grow flowers, maintain a native plant garden, keep bees, and make beeswax products like lip balm. They even raise goats for cheesemaking and chickens for fresh eggs! 🐝🐐
