LISTEN: Audio circulating online reportedly captures the final moments of the Learjet 60 that crashed in Palm Beach County on Sunday afternoon.

Flight tracking data shared online shows the jet, tail number N722BD, dropped from about 32,000 feet to roughly 900 feet in less than a minute. That is a fall of more than 31,000 feet, a vertical speed of at least 350 mph.

Nine people were on board when the jet went down around 12:50 p.m. near Military Trail between Cresthaven Boulevard and 10th Avenue North, according to WPBF 25 News. The flight had departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was headed to North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue declared a mass casualty incident and reported multiple fatalities. Officials have not released the number of dead or said whether anyone on the ground was hurt.

The NTSB is leading the investigation with the FAA assisting. The cause of the crash has not been determined, and the flight tracking data has not been confirmed by investigators.

The Space Coast Rocket has not independently verified the audio.
