1956 Fender 5F11 Vibrolux

With its original tweed, transformers, and circuit, this first-year 5F11 Vibrolux is a wonderful Fender tweed amp.

The tweed covering has developed a beautiful natural patina over the last 70 years, making for a seriously handsome amplifier. The grille cloth, handle, and hardware are all original to the amplifier, adding to its cohesive vintage appearance.

A remarkable-sounding tweed Fender, this ‘56 Vibrolux delivers harmonically rich cleans at low volumes, while providing excellent crunch tones when pushed. The tremolo circuit sounds incredible, adding to this amplifier’s all-around awesomeness.

Just back from @marshalllespaulfan with a clean bill of health, this 70-year-old Fender is ready for the studio or stage.

It was precisely this same model of amplifier that John Lennon used during the early days of the Beatles, back when they were playing in Hamburg, Germany.
