Love these humans: Gayle, Andrea (with Lance), Leslie, Bernadette, and Janie. They all traveled from afar for tomorrow’s Writing the Heart Boulder Immersion. For most of us, tonight was our very first time meeting in person rather than over Zoom! We grabbed drinks at the Hotel Boulderado and dinner at the Dushanbe Tea House for a truly fun, memorable evening.

These are my kind of people—grappling with their stories, with grief, and with meaning, yet finding so much laughter and joy together.
