Почему я так люблю Париж?

Это на уровне чувств, не слов.
Когда-то я приехала сюда учиться. С тех пор некоторые улицы помнят обо мне чуть больше, чем я готова здесь рассказать.
Возвращаться сюда каждый год - моя традиция. Я гуляю по знакомым местам, открываю новые и каждый раз думаю: как же мне здесь хорошо.

Есть города, которые хочется увидеть. А в Париже мне хочется снова оказаться. 🤍

Vanilla Ice became a global sensation in 1990 with Ice Ice Baby, but his career quickly declined after questions emerged about his supposedly tough upbringing and gang-related past. His record label's biography exaggerated aspects of his background, portraying him as a streetwise rapper from Miami, when he had largely grown up in suburban Texas. The revelations damaged his credibility in hip-hop, where authenticity and personal experience were highly valued, and he became a frequent target of ridicule.

By the late 1990s, Vanilla Ice attempted to reinvent himself as a tougher, more aggressive artist, moving away from his clean-cut pop-rap image towards gangsta rap and heavy metal. His 1998 album Hard to Swallow, produced with Ross Robinson, known for his work with Korn and Limp Bizkit, blended rap with hardcore rock, distorted guitars and angry vocals. Ice adopted a darker look, with tattoos, shorter hair and a more confrontational stage presence, seemingly hoping to gain credibility with the alternative-metal and rap-rock audiences of the time.

However, the transformation failed to restore his mainstream popularity. Many listeners still associated him with the cheesy image of Ice Ice Baby, whilst others viewed his attempt to become a harder, more rebellious figure as another calculated reinvention. Although Hard to Swallow attracted some interest from alternative music fans, it achieved limited commercial success. His story became an example of how difficult it can be for an artist to escape a public image, particularly after losing credibility through exaggerated claims about their past.

Unpopular design opinion: Trying to make every small bathroom look bigger is exactly what’s holding your design back.

There’s a common misconception that tiny powder baths need light colors, minimal patterns, and simple finishes to avoid feeling cramped. I couldn’t disagree more.

Small spaces are actually the perfect opportunity to take design risks and embrace details that make a room feel special.

In this powder bath, we layered floral wallpaper, blue-gray paneled wainscoting, a dark furniture-style vanity, calacatta marble, and warm brass accents.

The contrast creates depth, the millwork adds architectural interest, and the wallpaper brings personality.

Vanavond is het zover🥊 Ik heb elke seconde alles op alles gezet om de best mogelijke prestatie te leveren. Dit had ik nooit gekund zonder het beste team om me heen. Grote dank aan mijn trainster @ilonalenten bij @kopsgym om me fysiek en mentaal klaar te stomen voor het echte werk, en mijn voedingscoach @almaravanderploeg die zorgde dat ik de perfecte brandstof had voor elke slopende training.
