You could live in Kansas City for years… and still not fully appreciate how beautiful this place is in the fall. 🍂✨
Loose Park is one of my favorite places for a fall stroll in Kansas City—and somehow feels different every time you go.
When the sunshine hits the changing leaves and reflects off the pond, it’s the kind of scene that makes you slow down and stay a little longer. Add in crisp air and leaves crunching underfoot, and you have a pretty perfect fall stroll. 🤎
Wander through the rose garden, loop the peaceful pond, and take your time beneath the colorful trees. There’s no need for a big itinerary here—the walk itself is the reason to go.
And here’s something easy to miss… tucked right next to the garden center is a small Japanese garden that feels almost hidden in plain sight. I had visited countless times before I ever noticed it. Such a peaceful little detour.
If you’re bringing the kids, the playground makes it easy to turn your fall stroll into a family outing. Easy parking is a bonus, too.
You’re also just minutes from the Country Club Plaza—perfect for brunch, shopping, or grabbing a warm coffee to round out your morning. ☕️
This is one of my favorites when I need fresh air, a reset, a walk with a friend, or an easy afternoon outside with the kids.
🍁 SAVE this for your next Kansas City fall outing and SHARE with your walking buddy!
