Is It Legit is a simple concept. No scores. No ratings. Just is a spot legit and worth your time and money to check out. I’m not paid by the establishment, I pay for my food and tip the wait staff.

Here’s my breakdown:
The Atmosphere: Not a huge spot however an absolutely on-point vibe. It’s rugged but simple inside. The pizza station is open to the restaurant. There’s an energy inside and out at the Galley. It almost feels like a (clean) dive you expect to get greatness from. Fits right into Asbury Park, especially the northwest section. Legit ☑️

The Service: The whole staff here embodies Asbury Park. It seems like there’s a lot of personalities and depending when you go and who’s there, the experience will be different. I mean that in a great way. The service is efficient and welcoming. Almost one of those you have to experience to understand. Carmine’s the man. Legit ☑️

The Food: This is one of the most recommended places I get for Is It Legit. The menu literally reads like a diner menu. The fact that everything from the sauces and dishes are scratch made is borderline insane. They do everything in house here. And you can tell. Legit ☑️

Recommendation: I genuinely mean this. You need to try exactly what I tried. The buffalo wings. The double smash. The Philly cooper. Round pie (Badlands was 🔥) and a Detroit pie (General was unbelievable).
