I said what I said, and the PATTERN will REPEAT until it is addressed

How do I know?
Because I’ve been her.
And the her before me…
And I’ve seen it countless times in my practice

It’s “easier” to cycle through an old pattern, and re-up on your drug of choice, rather than detox and address the root of the problem
( spoiler alert… the problem is usually the same as the source)
Our nervous systems are wired for repetition and “comfort”, not for what’s best for us.

Deep change requires discomfort, and we live in a culture that is adverse to just that.

If someone, regardless of their gender, has a string of “crazy” exes in their past with little to no gaps between, consider the common denominator.

Or become the next in line

Have some self-respect, see it for what it is, and don’t subject yourself to be a part of someone’s dysfunctional, self soothing, avoidant strategy

And he got her pregnant in less than 4 months after being together for 12 years. Plus he left me when I was 6 weeks pregnant
