Now that’s what I call ✨adapting✨ I want to be as involved in this process as I can and I’m making it work! I’m not the best at some things but hey I figured out how to take out tack strips!! Who the heck decided that was a good idea to lay carpet?! Because they are a pain to take out!

Hell yeah! Now for version 2 just have the extra fingers sewn out of the way or trimmed and then sewn up they the gloves are less bulky!

Just like there are 3d printers to make small custom plastic things, there needs to be a 3d printer for fabrics, to make custom gloves.

We’re exploring whether Claude can help accelerate the development of new treatments for disease. As part of this work, we asked an internal research model working inside Claude Science to develop minibinders against scorpion neurotoxins, using existing protein design tools available to researchers today.

Over 64 hours, Claude generated 318,484 candidate proteins against five toxins from four regions. Two independent labs (Adaptyv Bio and Twist Bioscience) tested 211 of them. 17 of these bound to their targets, with an 18% hit rate among single-toxin designs, consistent with the field.

This research is promising, but it also highlights the limitations of using Claude for science. Claude took several days to generate candidates—lab testing required another two months of work. Substantial further research would be required to confirm whether the binders are effective as a therapeutics.

All 211 designs and their lab data are public so other researchers can build on them. The work was developed in collaboration with Citrini Research.
