October 19: With the help of Audrey Briot, we captured the 21 cm wavelength hydrogen line from the Milky Way (at 1420.4 MHz). Life lately! Life is going to life when we least expect it 🐈📦 These last two weeks gave me a house move on my own, a storm that soaked half our things, a talk with oily hair, and a Bengal with a broken leg. Here’s what I’m learning as I get older, especially as someone who teaches mental fitness: every time chaos shows up, it becomes a learning moment for me first. Then it becomes a teaching moment for us and what makes the difference every single time is how I behave in the middle of it. So this is how I used BRAVE to get through: 🌬️ Breathe. Before any decision, one slow breath. 🔄 Reframe. “Everything is going wrong” became “a lot is happening, and I can handle the next thing.” 🧭 Align. I asked what really mattered that day or at that moment and let my actions follow. 🎯 Visualise. I pictured the outcome I wanted: a settled home, a relatable talk and a healed cat. 👣 Execute. One step, then the next one. Slowly slowly. If we’re in a hard season right now, we can change how we experience it by asking ourselves: 💛 What is this moment trying to teach me? 💛 What can I control today, and what can I let go of? 💛 What outcome do I want, and what’s one small step towards it?
