What an Amazing Experience! From DC to Pennsylvania! 🇺🇸🙌🏾

This was my very first time participating in a political campaign, and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had!

Traveling to Pennsylvania, going door-to-door, encouraging people to vote, and having real conversations with the community was something I’ll never forget. I learned so much and made some great connections along the way!

I want to recognize Governor Josh Shapiro, Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis, and Janelle Stelson, whose campaigns brought us together for this incredible experience.

A special thank you to DC Councilmember Robert White, who spoke so highly of my business, DC Shuckers. As a small business owner, hearing someone recognize something I’ve worked so hard to build meant the world to me. I also appreciate his work as he runs for DC Delegate to Congress, focusing on DC’s rights, affordable housing, economic opportunities, and small businesses. That recognition was truly a proud moment! 🙏🏾🦪

A special shoutout to DC Councilmember Wendell Felder of Ward 7! So many people showed up to travel to Pennsylvania that every seat on the bus was taken! But that didn’t stop Wendell. He got in his own vehicle and drove all the way to Pennsylvania to support the campaigns. I also appreciate his dedication to Ward 7 and the work he continues to do for the community. Much respect for going the extra mile, literally! 💪🏾

I went into this experience not knowing what to expect, but I came back with knowledge, new connections, great memories, and a whole new appreciation for the political process.

From shucking oysters to knocking on doors, you never know where life will take you! 🦪💪🏾

I’m just a guy from Washington, DC, building my business, learning new things, and embracing new opportunities.
