What an Amazing Experience! From DC to Pennsylvania! 🇺🇸🙌🏾

This was my very first time participating in a political campaign, and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had!

Traveling to Pennsylvania, going door-to-door, encouraging people to vote, and having real conversations with the community was something I’ll never forget. I learned so much and made some great connections along the way!

I want to recognize Governor Josh Shapiro, Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis, and Janelle Stelson, whose campaigns brought us together for this incredible experience.

A special thank you to DC Councilmember Robert White, who spoke so highly of my business, DC Shuckers. As a small business owner, hearing someone recognize something I’ve worked so hard to build meant the world to me. I also appreciate his work as he runs for DC Delegate to Congress, focusing on DC’s rights, affordable housing, economic opportunities, and small businesses. That recognition was truly a proud moment! 🙏🏾🦪

A special shoutout to DC Councilmember Wendell Felder of Ward 7! So many people showed up to travel to Pennsylvania that every seat on the bus was taken! But that didn’t stop Wendell. He got in his own vehicle and drove all the way to Pennsylvania to support the campaigns. I also appreciate his dedication to Ward 7 and the work he continues to do for the community. Much respect for going the extra mile, literally! 💪🏾

I went into this experience not knowing what to expect, but I came back with knowledge, new connections, great memories, and a whole new appreciation for the political process.

From shucking oysters to knocking on doors, you never know where life will take you! 🦪💪🏾

I’m just a guy from Washington, DC, building my business, learning new things, and embracing new opportunities.

This was my first time, but it definitely won’t be my last!

Much love and respect to everyone who made this possible! 🙏🏾❤️ @robertwhite_dc @wendellfelder_dc @tarahoot by @dcshuckers

Congratulations to Robert White on becoming Washington, DC’s next Delegate to the United States Congress, and a big congratulations to Janeese Lewis George on becoming the next Mayor of Washington, DC!

This is a big moment in history for our city, and being born and raised in DC makes it even more special to me. I had the opportunity to get out there, travel to Pennsylvania, knock on doors, meet some amazing people, and be part of something bigger than myself. That’s an experience I’ll never forget.

I also want to personally thank Robert White for showing love to me and DC Shuckers along the way. That meant a lot to me.

I’m proud to see this new chapter for Washington, DC. Wishing both Robert White and Janeese Lewis George nothing but success as they step into their new positions. Our city has a lot of history, and tonight we witnessed another piece of it.

Congratulations to you both! Much love and respect from DC Shuckers! by @dcshuckers

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be at the 13th Annual Georgetown SHUCK IT Oyster & Beer Festival! 🦪🔥

Y’all already know when I’m around, the oysters are going to be fresh, cold, and shucked right in front of you! I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new people, and doing what I love.

This festival also means a lot more to me personally. I’ll be there honoring the memory of my good friend John Francis Jenc, who passed away on August 16, 2025. John was the one who provided the music for this festival and helped bring that special energy and good vibe every year. This will be the second SHUCK IT Festival without him, and it definitely won’t feel the same.

Even though John won’t physically be there with us, his spirit, his music, and the memories he created will always be a part of this festival. I know he’ll be looking down on us while we continue something he loved being a part of. Rest in peace, my good friend. You are truly missed, and this one is for you. 🙏🏾❤️

Come out and enjoy fresh oysters, cold beer, live music, good people, and great vibes as we celebrate another year of SHUCK IT and remember a great friend who helped make this festival what it is.

Come show some love, grab some oysters, and enjoy the day with us! 🦪🔥 I’ll see y’all at SHUCK IT!
