NRLW Finals Campaign 2026 ✍️ In 2025, our theme was “Conquer the Mountain”, inspired by our pre-season camp in Bathurst. After falling short of the premiership, Strangey came up with “Continue to Climb” for 2026. For finals, we built on that story with “Welcome to the Summit”, using the term as the creative theme. I liked the idea of “Keep up with us if you can” and “not everyone makes it” which stemmed from the quiet confidence and belief within the squad. For me, @isabellekelly was the obvious choice to lead this campaign. The way she carries herself as captain, both on and off the field, says a lot about the culture of this team. The admiration the girls have for her as a leader sets the tone for the entire squad. Visually, I went with a colder colour palette to reflect the environment at the top of a mountain. With the help of my usos @dom.tupper and @tianawashere19 , and the green light from my boss, we brought the campaign to life. I created the finals launch video for socials and Allianz Stadium, while T and Dom developed the supporting assets. When I incorporated the trophy into the shoot, I deliberately had it facing backwards. Partly out of superstition, but also as a reminder that we’ve been here before and know what it takes. A special mention to the bro @madebygarf , who I sat down with to discuss incorporating his mixed-media style into the campaign. He came up with some heat, adding another creative perspective to the work. Super creative and grateful I got to witness his workflow and the love and care that goes into his craft. Most of all, I’m grateful to everyone involved for trusting me and my creative process, and allowing me to bring this vision to life as my first directed campaign. A story that started with a mountain in Bathurst and continued across two seasons, all the way to the summit as the 2026 premiers. 🏆
