We had two mini dates together this week & that is a recent record for us.😍

With both kids now driving & Elli heading off to college next year, we’ve realized it's soon going to be the two of us again.

For years, kids' schedules ran the show.
Practices. Games. Rides. Etc

And let's be honest... it was easy to put us on the back burner. And we often did.

But with the kids’ needs changing
we’re spending more time dating each other again.

Dinners out. Conversations that don’t mainly revolve around logistics and schedules. And in a few weeks, we're taking a trip just the two of us which hasn’t happened in a couple of years.

It's a little bittersweet, but I'm really loving this next chapter with my guy. 🫶🏻
