The must read this autumn has finally arrived …. Can’t wait to start reading it … Having read Kim Ghattas’ previous books & have not missed her podcasts conversations, I learn a lot from her & admire her knowledge & insight into Lebanon and the region. She has a rare gift for making a complex history understandable without losing the human dimension. For me whose life story also began in Beirut, her voice carries a special resonance 🇱🇧📚 #KimGhattas #TheBestKindOfAmerican #books #Lebanon #Beirut
