POSTS STORIES REELS

The must read this autumn has finally arrived …. Can’t wait to start reading it … Having read Kim Ghattas’ previous books & have not missed her podcasts conversations, I learn a lot from her & admire her knowledge & insight into Lebanon and the region. She has a rare gift for making a complex history understandable without losing the human dimension.

For me whose life story also began in Beirut, her voice carries a special resonance 🇱🇧📚

Just watched La Bola Negra. What a powerful film!

Love and hate. Tolerance and intolerance. Sexuality and mistery. War and humanity. Poetry and denials. Brutality & tenderness. Forbidden love. So many emotions brought together on screen, deeply felt.
The 3 men lives begin as separate pieces of a big puzzle that are put together beautifully and the weaving of the stories is captivating.

Growing up, I would read the cinema reviews in L’Orient-Le Jour. Tonight, I found myself remembering the most important review :

« À voir absolument. » 🎬

My Sunday reset🌞🌊 & me by @m_micha

Standing at the Arctic Circle in Jokkmokk today, in complete awe. ❄️🪞

It filled me with joy ….no words… wow.
No one said how far we could go.

I had to leave a little piece of The Mirror here.

When we started @the_mirror_leadership, @m_micha and I, we didn’t know where it would take us. We just knew we believed in it, in creating a space that could mean something to someone.

And here I am, at the Arctic Circle, leaving our little imprint.

Maybe that’s what touched me today.

You don’t always need to know how far you can go.
You just need to start, keep believing, and keep moving.

And sometimes, you look back and realise…

Wow. Look how far you’ve already come. 💚🪞 by @m_micha

Twelve years on, many coaching conversations and one bakeshop later, I went back to school….!

I first trained with Coach Masters Academy in Ho Chi Minh City in 2014. This year, I returned to deepen my coaching skills for the Women of The Mirror Leadership and for my individual clients.

One word from the learning has stayed with me: Sawubona. “I see you.”

It reminds me to slow down, listen fully and meet the person in front of me as they are. This has touched me on a very deep level. It’s like I found my way… I am carrying that intention into my coaching and into my everyday life.

So Grateful to @cmaglobaloffice Dr. Ben Koh, Ngoc @jade_bleu_coaching, Azadeh and everyone who learned and practiced alongside me this summer.

A week goes by far too quickly❤️

So grateful for your every visit, every coffee, every walk, every laugh, and all the little rituals we’ve created over the years.

There is something Aanjad very special about a Lebanese Sisterhood :
« the love is loud, the conversations are endless, the table is always full, the shopping bags are heavy, and the goodbyes are never easy»

Until your next visit❤️❤️❤️ by @m_micha

Some stories must be heard.

Others must be shared, because silence costs too much.

I’m honoured to facilitate the virtual launch of « Veil of Silence » by my dear friend @danielle_abi_saab on 16 July at 19:00 CET.

This book gives voice to women too often unheard. Through Hoda’s journey (name changed), it exposes the realities of forced marriage and the oppression still faced by many women around the world.

This conversation matters deeply to me. Raising awareness is the first step toward change. By creating space for these stories, we challenge silence and move closer to a world where every woman lives with dignity, freedom, and choice.

I hope you’ll join us and help amplify these voices.

🗓️16 July at 19:00 CET
🔗 Join us on Zoom: Zoom Meeting
📖 Can’t attend live? You can order your copy of Veil of Silence here: https://amzn.eu/d/03eOMBXT

Because every story told breaks a little more of the silence.
