You're your muse.

Almost exactly year ago Camila and I set out eastward on a 5 hour drive into the heart of Spain’s Bardenas Reales. With Camila’s styling inspired by Dune, and landscape which emphasizes isolation, we crafted a piece that focuses on the anxieties of a creative mind in a lull of inspiration.

In a fit of frustration our protagonist searches for answers. Initially she gazes outwards, far beyond herself. She peers through her telescope deep into the skies finding only her many facets. Scouring the isolate landscape desperately for a glimpse of creativity, she is instead swarmed by the fractions of herself, each version more lost than the last. Finally, in a frantic frenzy, she collapses to the floor where she stumbles upon a magnifying glass. This is a tool not meant for outwardness. This is a tool designed to help the observer look deeper. In that moment she realizes, she had always been looking in the wrong direction.
