You're your muse. Almost exactly year ago Camila and I set out eastward on a 5 hour drive into the heart of Spain’s Bardenas Reales. With Camila’s styling inspired by Dune, and landscape which emphasizes isolation, we crafted a piece that focuses on the anxieties of a creative mind in a lull of inspiration. In a fit of frustration our protagonist searches for answers. Initially she gazes outwards, far beyond herself. She peers through her telescope deep into the skies finding only her many facets. Scouring the isolate landscape desperately for a glimpse of creativity, she is instead swarmed by the fractions of herself, each version more lost than the last. Finally, in a frantic frenzy, she collapses to the floor where she stumbles upon a magnifying glass. This is a tool not meant for outwardness. This is a tool designed to help the observer look deeper. In that moment she realizes, she had always been looking in the wrong direction. The World Cup is on, and all of Morocco is watching, hearts set on Thursday’s historic quarter-final against France, a rematch of a story that still stings from 2022 But long before the world stage, football lives closer to the ground: in the medina, on the beach, in the streets where the game is played for nothing but the love of it. It begins here, with those who keep the culture alive far from the cameras, building their own moments without waiting for the spotlight. Shot in Rabat during Ramadan, this video captures the spirit of football as it takes over the city. Moving through the old medina, the beach, and the streets, we follow @charafreestyle through a series of visual fragments, glimpses of his presence within the city and its rhythm. The journey leads to a tournament he co-organized with @mehdi_amri_10, bringing people together just before ftour. The crowd gathers, the atmosphere rises, everything converges in one place. From local grounds to the world stage, the same passion, the same game.
