A wonderful weekend for Wilhelmina Barns-Graham (1912–2004), with the opening of a major retrospective at Tate St Ives, celebrating one of Britain’s most remarkable modern artists. If you are visiting Cornwall, this is an exhibition not to be missed – it is now open and runs until 3 May 2027.

Throughout October, we have celebrated Barns-Graham’s extraordinary achievements in printmaking with our exhibition Printed Rhythms. Her later prints, many created in collaboration with Graal Press, are full of colour, energy and invention, revealing an artist whose creativity never stood still.

The Scottish Gallery represented Barns-Graham during her lifetime and has continued to champion her work ever since. We are now delighted to announce our exclusive partnership with the Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Trust, acting as exclusive agent for her prints. Explore her remarkable prints on our website, link in bio and discover the retrospective at Tate St Ives.

Complete contrast to the Angie Lewin show - but just as colourful and joyful. 👏👏👏❤️
