Bali, part I 🌺

Some people just love so fucking hard, and the beautiful thing is watching how hard everyone loves them right back.

I don’t think any of us were quite prepared for what these two dreamed up. Days of magic, beautiful chaos, tears, deep belly laughs, barefoot dancing, and the kind of love that was almost overwhelming to witness. Every little detail so intentional. A whole festival they imagined and somehow brought to life for all of us to experience.

Underneath all of it, two people who are so clearly meant to find each other. I kept looking around thinking, how lucky are we to be here for this? Especially after the absolute circus it took to get here. Delayed flights, sprinting through airports, a connection I had no business making, and luggage that apparently decided to take its own vacation. At one point I genuinely wondered if the universe was trying to tell me something. Turns out, it was just making sure I had a good story.

And Mama Bali. What a place to hold a love like theirs. Thank you for watching over us, for welcoming all of this creation onto your land, and for giving us a little piece of your magic to carry home.

Still trying to make sense of how something could feel so surreal and so deeply real at the same time.
