It's always a joy to see an artist at work in their studio. And none more so than Peter Godwin.
His new exhibition, Studio and Mountains opened on Saturday and will continue until 14 November.
The exhibition offers an intimate encounter with Godwin's working world. Through restrained colour, delicate mark-making and an acute sensitivity to light, the studio becomes more than a physical setting.
These paintings ask us to look slowly, attending to the subtle relationships between objects, images and the light that holds them together.
