The new four-lane Wismar–Mackenzie Bridge in Linden has been completed for two weeks, yet Lindeners are still being forced to rely on a single-lane bridge that has served the community for more than 50 years. Traffic continues to back up, children are arriving late for school, and workers are struggling to get to work on time because traffic can only move in one direction at a time. There is absolutely no justification for keeping a completed bridge out of service while residents endure these daily frustrations. The government must stop delaying the opening of the bridge for the sake of a grand commissioning ceremony and open it soonest, as early as tomorrow. Lindeners have waited long enough. The bridge is completed and must be put to use now.

Patience is the key. The other bridge was previously working fine for everyone, but now it’s a punishment for them to use the same bridge they’ve always used? Stop the complaining and nonsense… here’s an idea…Maybe you should build your own bridge for everyone and have everyone cross on time!
