And that’s a feminist wave 🌊

From herstoric firsts, first Native American governor, first openly gay senator, Texas flipped blue, the most women elected to governor and wins for democratic socialists. With a majority in both the house and senate, we finally have the grounds to enact the change we so deserve.

This is not just a blue wave. This work has been held by multiple generations of Black southern organizers to get to this moment. 💙

Today we celebrate, tomorrow we get back to work!

Today, we tragically lost a sister of the Omicron Lambda chapter and 2026 Graduate of UNC Pembroke, Saige Richardson💚.

Please join us to celebrate the life of Saige with a candlelight vigil on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 6pm by the water feature🩷.
