This week at Hootananny brings together an eclectic mix of bass-heavy electronic sounds, high-energy jungle and dubstep, through to atmospheric darkwave, post-punk and ska-infused grooves. Expect a Halloween-fuelled blend of underground club sounds, live performances and dancefloor driven selections.

VAS J MORGAN & MICHAEL BRAUN’S HALLOWEEN PARTY BRINGS OUT HOLLYWOOD’S BIGGEST NAMES

Vas J Morgan and Michael Braun hosted their sixth annual Halloween party in Los Angeles, bringing together an extensive guest list of actors, musicians, models, and notable names from across the entertainment industry.

This year’s theme, “Hockey Horror,” was inspired by the success of “Off Campus” and “Heated Rivalry.” Guests enjoyed Raising Cane’s chicken fingers and cocktails by Melquiades.

Among the many attendees, some of whom are pictured and some of whom are not, were Adria Arjona, Alex Consani, Alex Edelman, Alexandra Shipp, Anna Kendrick, Ashley Benson, Ashley Park, Ashtin Earle, Ava Max, Brooks Nader, Camila Cabello, Casey Affleck, Chantel Jeffries, Dan Reynolds, Danny Ramirez, Dixie D’Amelio, Doechii, Dylan Penn, Eiza González, Emma Roberts, Eve Hewson, Harry Jowsey, Hunter Schafer, Ice Spice, Jaden Smith, Jasmine Tookes, JENNIE, Jessica Alba, Kelsey Merritt, Landon Barker, Laura Harrier, Lily-Rose Depp, Lizzo, Lukas Haas, Mary Holland Nader, MGK, Natasha Lyonne, Paris Hilton, Paul Wesley, Salma Hayek, Sara Sampaio, Sarah Jane Nader, Sergey Brin, Shanina Shaik, Stassie Karanikolaou, Tiffany Haddish, Tyriq Withers, Willow Smith, and Winnie Harlow.

If these steps could talk to my future about my past, you’d swear they were talking about two completely different people.

The residue of million-dollar dreams, plots, and schemes still remains on these steps. So do the conversations I had with myself about making it out.

Only a few make it out of this city. I’m blessed to be among them. Grateful I survived long enough to become somebody the younger me wouldn’t believe.

But it’s bigger than making it out now. It’s about showing there’s a whole new avenue that others can follow.
