How does your horse change in the colder months?? ❄️🥶

Rye gets a bit of skip in his step and feels a lot more forward- which is very welcomed by me 😂👏🏻 moving a big draft around an arena in the middle of summer is not for the faint of heart 😅 He does have the tendency to have a colder back though- so we have perfected his blanket routine to keep him super warm in there 🔥 because the Weatherbeeta blankets all lay so perfectly on top of each other- it’s easy for us to swap out different layers to make sure he is always feeling good ! Right now is in two layers, but by the middle of winter he usually gets up to about 3! It’s super helpful in keeping his muscles warm and ready to go! 🐴🤍
