The MOTHERLAND, you’re next! 🇳🇬👑

The Heir @theheirfilm is an OFFICIAL SELECTION at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) @afriff in Lagos, Nigeria - one the most prominent and premiere festivals on the continent!

Fun fact: Nigeria is affectionately known as Naija.
Easter egg: I named the lead character in our film - Addison "Naija" Lee. Firstly, in honor of my goddaughter, Naija. Secondly, to show the beautiful way African Americans carry our African roots forward through our names. The ties that bind show no borders! 💚🤍💚

Huge thanks to @realchiomaude for your visionary leadership & #TeamAFRIFF for the recognition. 💥Nov. 1 - 7!!!
