24 hours in the backcountry of Colorado. My biggest solo adventure yet.
This trail wasn’t on my radar. I chose it on a whim after running into wildfire smoke on the way to a different trail, and I wasn’t disappointed. It was such a pretty hike. A herd of Mountain goats greeted me as I came over the ridge, and marmots were everywhere. I had the most incredible time out there, just me and the wildlife.
