In many of our local communities, societal norms have not always encouraged young women and girls to be confident, speak up, or freely express themselves.
Sadly, this has led many girls to suffer in silence, keeping sensitive experiences and challenges, especially those relating to sexual health and abuse, to themselves. Sometimes, the silence comes at a devastating cost.
At LADEG we believe every girl deserves to be heard, understood, and empowered to speak up without fear or shame. 💜
Through our counselling sessions, group discussions, and interactive learning activities, we create safe spaces where young women and girls can build confidence, express themselves freely, ask questions, and make informed decisions about their lives and wellbeing.
A confident girl is an empowered girl, and an empowered girl can change her world!
