Moy Canoe Club is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year having been established in 1986.
We will all off load our boats and gear and pre ordered Club gear at St Muredach's Cathedral car park. From there we will travel to The Quay to park our vehicles and get on the shuttle bus back to the Cathedral.
Once boats have been collected and in gear we will make our way across the road where boats can be placed beside the bridge. There will be a short presentation by the Club Chairman Kevin Dodd and following that a Ceremony of Remembrance for deceased members at 2.15pm.
3.00pm we will all take to the water together in one great big colourful flotilla. It will be a sight to see for everyone along the riverbank. We will paddle to the Quay, disembark, put all personal and Club gear away and then head to The Twin Trees Hotel from 5.00pm for an evening of chat, craic, food, slide show and presentations.
If you are a past member and you would like to join us then please do get in touch, whether to paddle or to come and meet up with old friends and family members.
