I used to think getting results just meant eating less, training more and being more disciplined.

So that’s what I did.

More cardio, more restriction, more pressure to be “good” all the time. And whenever I fell out of routine, I just assumed I was the problem.

What I wasn’t really thinking about was my cycle, my hormones, my energy, my stress, my recovery… basically all the things that can completely change how you feel from one week to the next.

Once I stopped expecting my body to perform exactly the same every day, everything got easier.

I started using the higher energy parts of my cycle for more strength and dynamic movement, and the lower energy parts for Pilates, lower intensity movement and more recovery.

I also stopped under-eating and actually started fuelling my body properly.

And weirdly, that’s when I became more consistent.

Not because I was trying harder, but because I finally had an approach that actually worked with my body rather than constantly fighting it.

That’s basically what Sync was built around.

So if you feel like you’re doing “all the right things” but still not really getting anywhere…

Her debut album Gourmandises surpassed 4 million copies worldwide and went multi-platinum.

Fun fact: In 2003, Alizée covered Madonna’s La Isla Bonita on French television. The performance went viral, particularly in Mexico!
She said many times that it’s her favorite song and she still performs it live, including at her concert earlier this year !

"J’en ai marre !" (2003) confirmed Alizée’s success after Moi Lolita. The song became a major hit in France and across Europe !
