Montreal WC 2026! 🌈 I’ve worked in cycling for a few years now, but getting to photograph this one felt different. seeing my flag throughout the course and hearing people cheering for mexico from start to finish was something I don’t think I was prepared for.
there was something really special about seeing a little piece of home so present in a world that has become such a big part of my own life and work. and seeing the impact @isaac_deltoro_romero1 is already having, not only back home but in putting mexican cycling on a much bigger stage, made it mean even more 🥺
he came to win, and it didn’t happen this time. but seeing that ambition, and seeing so many people genuinely believing it could happen, was pretty damn special.
