یادشان جاودان 🩵 THE MOTHERS WHO NEVER CAME HOME Somewhere in Iran, there are children who will never hear their mother call their name again. These women were not just photographs. They were mothers. They were someone’s entire world. They had dreams, families, and children waiting for them. And then, the Islamic Republic took their lives. How do you explain to a child that their mother is never coming home? How do you ask a family to move on when the person who held their world together has been taken from them? We cannot bring these mothers back. But we can make sure their names are never forgotten, their stories are never s⁩⁩⁩⁩
At 25 I thought a good life had to be loud. Full weekends, a full calendar, everyone around all the time. At 36 it looks like this. Slow mornings with my coffee, a kitchen that smells like dinner, long walks through the city with nowhere to be, Lucas waiting at the door, and evenings so soft I never want them to end. I used to think this list was what you settle for. It turned out to be everything I ever wanted. 🤍 #livingalone #slowliving
