“1987-88” Very deceptive train. You see an old blue stripe NYC subway and you think early 80’s. That would be incorrect, you see in the late 80’s there was a final surge on the bmt’s and I was a part of it. Trains will always be the passion for me and where graff originated from. People will always say “it doesn’t matter anymore” or “that’s old school” usually because they never painted one, or they were too young to do it. I get it, you just don’t want to give the respect it deserves. Well, here’s my opinion on that. I would never discredit any artist new or old. The respect for the craft is what should be most important, but for your own benefit, learn the history! We always hear Dondi, Seen, but do we know who Noc and Billy are? We certainly should, but we don’t. The history is all over the place and it’s of no real benefit to learn it. Pretty sad! Don’t worry, real class will soon be in session. 👈🏼📚✌🏼Oh and that trumpet solo by Victor Paz is pretty bad ass too. “1977” IYKYK #thetruthalwayscomesout #caminoalbarrio
