Here's the thing Fun fact: The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) takes place in a retro-futuristic world inspired by the 1960s, giving the Marvel superhero team a visual style unlike most other MCU films. The movie stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm. One interesting detail is that the Fantastic Four first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1961, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, making them one of Marvel's foundational superhero teams. Another cool fact is that the film's production design draws on mid-century architecture, vintage technology, and imaginative ideas about what people in the 1960s thought the future might look like. That combination of comic-book history, retro-inspired technology, colorful world-building, and a famous superhero family gives First Steps a distinctive place in Marvel's cinematic universe. 🚀🦸✨ © Marvel Studios

I am SO excited to be able to share this massive step forward today. The House of Commons has accepted my parliamentary petition for a public inquiry into the pathologisation of abuse victims following the public apology from The Royal College of Psychiatry. Launch an inquiry into the psychiatric care and diagnoses of child abuse victims Created by Dr Jessica Taylor Closes on 14 April 2027 In light of the official apology from the Royal College of Psychiatry, we request that the Government launch an inquiry to explore the treatment of victims of child abuse, sexual abuse and domestic abuse who may have been incorrectly pathologised, framed as mentally ill, and wrongly diagnosed. In August 2026, The Royal College of Psychiatrists published an official apology to victims of abuse, admitting that UK psychiatrists had diagnosed victims, medicated them, and admitting that there is no significant evidence base for “false memory syndrome”. Thousands of UK victims of abuse have had their credibility and disclosures harmed by these false diagnoses, including in criminal court, family court, mental health services, and NHS records. We now need an inquiry to establish the scale of this issue and impact. Sign, share, tell everyone. Send it everywhere. We need as many signatures as possible to force a parliamentary debate about the appalling use ‘false memory syndrome’ and other false psychiatric labels to silence victims of abuse. We will have justice. Contact me for any links or details you need. Sign the petition in my bio or in comments below posts.
So few squares, so much to say 🤍 We celebrated Marea with some of our favorite women at the opening dinner of the Marea Market experience at @graybarns this past week. This was a brand new concept for us, and it felt so good to be where our roots are, at home in Connecticut 🫶🏻 The dinner had such good vibes, so warm and welcoming, cozy, with so many friends of the brand in attendance. **pinch me is this real life** I’m incredibly grateful to the community who consistently shows up to build us up, and also to my amazingly talented and dedicated team who pulled this event off with such attention to detail and a whole lot of love. I’d be nowhere without their support 🤍 (more to come with only 20 squares I have so much more to share!!) And to credit our amazing event partners who helped make this beautiful event happen: @lamaisonfete @brianwilliamsevents @wildfigfloral @birchlane @thepopperyny @social.alchemy @graybarns @petuniarosechina @socialdecor @roonee_bespoke_celebrations @luxeeventrentals @horizonsctsn @hellolebon @ndstudio_events @drawbridgedesignstudio @lefeels_ @samwoolfmusic @kt.sura @longfieldfarmct @potterybarn
