Sometimes you have to come back to realize just how far you’ve come. 🤍

In July 2023, I came to Florence during one of the most uncertain chapters of my life. I had spent so much of myself on a career that I’d forgotten there was supposed to be a whole person outside of it.

I remember sitting in this exact spot, not knowing what was next, but knowing something had to change.

Three years later, I found myself back at the same table.

Except this time, I wasn’t trying to figure out who I was without my job. I already knew.

I still love my career. I still work hard. But I’ve learned that a beautiful life can hold ambition and rest. Work and adventure. Plans and a random Tuesday wandering around Florence.

And maybe my favorite part? Back then, I dreamed about what it might feel like to build a life where I could work and still see the world.

This time, I got to live a little piece of it. 🥹🇮🇹

Same spot. Different woman.

And I think 2023 me would be really proud of her. 🤍
